Holiday Sessions

Throughout the school holidays, ADFA offer sports and activity courses for children, boys and girls, aged 4 – 15 years old at The Scout Hut, Herne Drive for all abilities and standards. The majority of courses in the holidays are child led, giving them the opportunity to use their imagination to play games. The coaches are there to help them learn new games and skills and to ensure their safety is adhered to. The courses are held at The Scout Hut, and parents can be safe in the knowledge that there child is being cared for and looked after by our fully trained and CRB Checked coaching staff.

At the end of the week all children receive a medal. Prizes are also given to Penalty Winners, Good Attitude, Player of Week and Sports Personality.

Our aim for these Activity weeks is to ensure all the children enjoy themselves and have fun, make new friends, have a good experience and stay safe.

Multi-Sports

The Multi-Sports week is an opportunity for children, boys and girls, aged 5 – 15 years old to participate and discover new sports and improve on sports they have tried before. Throughout the week they will be trying a variety of sports indoors and outdoors including the run of our forrested area.

  • Golf
  • Rugby

The activity camps run for five days during the holidays unless it has a bank holiday.  The cost of each course is normally £70 for the week, however, when booking multiple weeks a discount is given. There is an option to pay daily and will cost of £15 per day.

Other information:

You will need to bring appropriate football wear, shin pads and football boots for the football weeks. Studs or blades are allowed, if ground is hard trainers are  suitable.

Please pack a  change of clothes in case of inclement weather. You will also need to bring a packed lunch and enough drink for the day although we have facilities to fill up water bottles. (Beware ‘e’ numbers)

Parents, as you may be aware the situation at the moment with children and allergies is very complicated.

We would ask you to not to pack any form of nuts in your child’s lunch in case of an allergic child accidentally comes into contact with them.
We are in effect making the course ‘NUT FREE’.
Thank you for your co-operation in advance.
