At ADFA we are giving the opportunity for young goalkeepers, boys and girls, to improve and develop their knowledge and technical skills through a goalkeeping specific workshop every Monday evening. There is a limit of 10 goalkeepers for each session so we can concentrate more on the individual technique of each goalkeeper and focus on what aspects they need to improve on.
Each session will focus on different aspects of goalkeeping dependant on age and ability:
- Basic Handling and Footwork
- Shot Stopping/Diving
- Dealing with Crosses
- Distribution
- 1v1
- Communication and Support
- Agility and Conditioning
We have three age ranges across the evening 6pm to 7pm:
- 5-8 year olds
- 9-11 year olds
- 12+ year olds
The cost for an hour session is just £5 as we believe that it shouldn’t cost a lot to increase knowledge of becoming a great goalkeeper and is held at Herne Bay High School on the outdoor pitches. Each session is limited to 10 goalkeepers.
